This 2025 edition of the InterAction Collection shares more compelling stories about how practitioners around the world inspire the solution-focused evolution.
In this year’s edition, we are showcasing the highlights of the SOL World Conference 2025, taking place this year in Mechelen, Belgium as well as the application of the Solution Focus (SF) approach within various organizational contexts.
You will find a diverse array of content, including:
- Case Studies: Detailed accounts of SF applications in real-world organizational settings.
- Applications: Practical tools and methodologies for implementing SF principles. SFiO.org
- Conversations: Interviews and discussions with seasoned SF practitioners.
- Book Reviews: Insights into literature pertinent to SF practices.
Since the InterAction Collection transitioned from a traditional biannual publication to a dynamic, rolling content model. This shift allows for more timely sharing of innovative practices, insightful research, and compelling stories that inspire the evolution of SF within organizations.
Do let the editors know if there is a particular topic you would like featured by connecting and sharing an outline of what you would like to submit. You can also contribute by presenting a topic in a Global Online Chapter, with attendees from many different countries worldwide, or we can arrange for a contributor to interview you if you have a great story to tell.
Overall, the InterAction Collection serves as a valuable resource for professionals seeking to explore and apply Solution Focus methodologies in organizational settings and is published thanks to the support from our SFiO contributors.

John has over thirty years experience of leading people to collaborate effectively. He gained his leadership experience as a Senior Vice President in Visa International, working on international projects. Since 2004 he has used his leadership and Solution Focus expertise to enable people in multinational and national organisations to collaborate effectively. He is Co-President of Solution Focus in Organisations, an SFiO Reviewed Practitioner and has an MBA from The Open University in the UK.
