Package 1 : Book Challenge

Challenge

To identify and list at least 25 books on SF in organisation that have yet to be reviewed in InterAction.

Theme / Area: InterAction / Web page. Time Commitment: 8 hours over one month.

The Opportunity

What could be possible if this challenge is completed? SFiO will be able to commission reviews of all books that cover solution focused topics appropriate to organisational and societal change.

Why this challenge matters?

This challenge helps us spot gaps, surface valuable books we have overlooked, possibly in languages other than English, and creates a steady flow of reviews that make InterAction more useful to practitioners. Practitioners will have easy access to peer written book reviews.

What done looks like?

An Excel spreadsheet with a prioritised list of book reviews, sent to the InterAction editors with (if possible) suggested reviewers from the SF in organisations community. Ideally there are URLs to the sources of the book (particularly second hand books).

1. Review all the volumes of InterAction and list books already reviewed.
2. Search web for organisational/societal books not reviewed in InterAction (in any language) and list them
3. Submit a prioritised list of book reviews to the InterAction editors with (if possible) suggested reviewers from the SF in organisations community.
